
Holocaust and Hiroshima as the Two Logical Conclusions of Western
Thought
Introduction
The term ``Western Thought ' arouse in connection with the emerging
concept of deductive reasoning and the rule of law , so popular in the
middle-century world . The roots of contemporary Western thought are
readily found in the philosophic works of Socrates and Aristotle , who
were devoted to the importance of logic in the world 's historical
development (Golden 23 . Yet , not everything is as perfect as ancient
philosophers were trying to present . With time and under the pressure of
numerous social forces , the meaning of Western thought was gradually
distorted , and is now invariably associated with the terms Holocaust ,
Hiroshima , and Holocaust . The need for extinction of whole nations has
become obvious during the colonial era , when thousands and millions of
peoples were slaved . The growing desire to divide the world into
influence spheres and to annex the most promising sources of cheap labor
and raw materials has finally turned into a western obsession , further
supported by the technological advancement and the increasing
sophistication of arms . Thus , Hiroshima and Holocaust have become the
two logical conclusions of Western thought , driven by the desire to
annex peoples and territories , and the need for extinction of those who
were opposing to the new type of political violence .
