Indeed there is no unity in our religions and that is why people keep on
running from one religion to another hoping to find one that will
fulfill the faith that he has . If there could be unity , then definitely
there could be no issue of the rising of so many religions at the same
time . It looks as if we are worshiping different Gods and that is why in
a religion like Christianity , you will find more than just enough
churches . This could not be so if there could be unity in our religions .
This is why the temple , the churches , mosque , and the vihara are very
different from each other . They have different believes and teachings ,
they perform different rites depending on their teachings . The believers
have different opinion on who the creator is and whom they should
worship as the true God . In fact that is why different believers cannot
sit together to argue on who worships a true God because they rarely
come to an agreement if anything they may end up being enemies forever .
That is where the Islamic jihad originated , difference in opinions about
religion and even went ahead to believe that if anyone dies because he
is defending Allah , he will have eternal life (Arunachala S , 1879 )
