The book that I read was Brunelleschi's Dome by Ross King. This book summarized the story of how Filippo Brunelleschi was a genius in architecture during the Renaissance and the mastermind behind creation and completion of the dome in the Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral.
Brunelleschi started out his skilled life as a goldsmith in San Giovanni. A career as a goldsmith was very popular at the time by other great artists like Leonardo da Vinci and Donatello. Being a goldsmith inspired Brunelleschi to create and sculpt things. When Brunelleschi was done mastering the skills of metal work, he began working on gears, and then on to clocks.

President George Bush justified the invasion of Iraq on the grounds of
removing a brutal regime and liberating the Iraqi people . One of the
justifications used for the American invasion of Iraq was launched with
the belief that a democracy could be implanted in that resource rich and
educated country . Iraq had the potential to become the most powerful
Arab state in the region with its vast oil resources , fertile land ,
water resources , and educated workforce .

One of the things that it is easy and at the same time difficult to do
is being familiar with oneself . There is an impression that the person
you are mostly likely to know better is yourself because you are simply
dealing with your own self . Who else would be aware of how you think and
what you feel but no one other than yourself alone .

Indeed there is no unity in our religions and that is why people keep on
running from one religion to another hoping to find one that will
fulfill the faith that he has . If there could be unity , then definitely
there could be no issue of the rising of so many religions at the same
time .

Trust Each Other and Thou Shall Live in Peace
If everybody learns how to trust each other , there is a greater chance
that the world will achieve harmony which in turn results into a
peaceful society . But however one hopes for such , it still seemed bleak
though . Diversity , which is brought about by globalization that was
supposed to pacify racial discrimination , makes the situation even
worse . There are even various groups within the society who recognizes
solely those with whom they thought should be trusted - with which are
usually of the same race as they are , the same color , and the same
language they speak .

This book was written by Simon Winchester , author of The Professor and
the Madman , a writer that brings to life some of the unsung heroes that
help create the world we know today . In this book he weaves the tale of
the man who discovered the geologic history of the world and changed the
way we saw it 's creation forever .

ingredients that are found in certain food products and are mostly used
as thickeners in prepared soups , hot drinks , as well as sauces . Modified

my academic performance , I had been working as a peer tutor in the
Learning Center . The Learning Center provides materials and information
to enhance students ' learning skills , ability and their knowledge on the
content of subjects . My role is to offer content assistance in the areas
of Economics , English and Mathematics , but would often cross-tutor in
several other areas such as Criminal Justice , writing , and general study
skills . Experiencing the success in assisting other students and
receiving good feedbacks had gained me a really joyful work experience
as a peer tutor .
