China culture
China’s artistic and cultural achievements over the past 3,000 years are the basis of great pride for the Chinese people. The rulers of China’s dynasties emphasized their role as protectors of the country’s cultural tradition, supporting visual artists and writers and creating elaborate palace and temple complexes to demonstrate their fitness to rule. China’s heritage was also available to those residents who were not literate in the Chinese language, often through the medium of drama, which brought stories from Chinese history and literature into even remote towns and villages.
Christmas
The sole definition of Christmas at one time was, an annual church festival in memory of the birth of Christ. Now when the word Christmas is mentioned people think about lights, trees, presents, food, friends and family, along with the birth of Christ. Some view these added meanings as a good change and some view them as a bad change. In today’s world Christmas is not defined only as celebrating the birth of Christ but also the celebration of giving, and the celebration of family and friends.
What is Wisdom?
If one asks the majority of people what the word wisdom means, most will answer vaguely that it is the knowledge gained during a lifetime. However, wisdom is much more than just knowledge gained; it signifies the accumulation of knowledge, the application of learning, and the personification of God's will in the creation of the universe (according to the American Heritage Dictionary, 6th ed.).

American Society
The United States is a great and strong country made up of about three million populations. The population, Americans, usually defined as citizens of the United States. However, it is hard to distinguish as they are without a common heritage, ethnicity, or lineage. Therefore Americans should be precisely defined through their common characteristics. It is the characteristics that distinguish them from other people around the world by its equality, goals, and the pursuit of happiness.
Welfare Programs Cause Crime
"Controlling violent crime is largely a state and local responsibility," declare Robert Moffit, Edwin Meese, and Patrick Fagan of the Heritage Foundation. "State and local officials," they say, "should take the initiative to identify and target the hard-core criminals who are committing the majority of crimes and implement tough policies to put them behind bars and keep them there. Mounting evidence shows that this approach works."
Thinking of Courage
The current dictionary definitions of courage are inadequate because they only include references to physical courage and omit instances of inner strength. Three contemporary dictionaries agree closely on the definition although they differ in the order of importance. Webster's New World Dictionary describes courage as "an attitude of facing and dealing with anything recognized as dangerous, difficult or painful, instead of withdrawing from it," and The American Heritage Dictionary gives a similar explanation.
Sweat
It is easy to see why a person would find "Sweat" an offensive story.
Many who read this story will find that the style in which it is written to be
degrading to the African American race. However, this assumption has little
backing. Zora Hurston is clearly relaying a story that tells of her time. To
say "Sweat" is stereotypical is to deny the fact that this is the way things
were at one time.
English In The New WorldFrom its early British heritage, the English language has evolved and it will continue to do so as it creeps its way into societies all over the world. The English you know may not be what another person, who lives in another country, knows. Marquez Comelab, author of The Part-Time Currency Trader , explains.
